Hello! We are Sam and Laura :) We started this blog because we are adopting two beautiful children from the Democratic Republic of Congo in Africa, and are also becoming a foster family to help children both near and far. We wanted a way to share our journey, hoping to encourage others to take a look at the orphan crisis in the world and help - whether that's through adoption, financially helping to feed the orphans of the world, supporting an adoptive family you know, being a mentor to a foster child...there are countless ways to get involved! The biggest one is prayer. God is so powerful, and His power becomes even more evident when a prayer is lifted up. Through this blog, we have tried to be honest, sharing our triumphs and our difficulties - those things all parents experience :)
